Coaching is outcome driven professional development that requires a dynamic, focused commitment to self-reflection and personal growth. The process is a powerful and effective tool designed to assist people at all career levels to pursue sustainable professional growth.
At Shaffer Coaching we provide guidance, accountability and a safe forum for discussion to support our client’s exploration of goals and aspirations. In partnership with our clients, we co-create individual strategies and plans to help you embrace your potential and achieve your goals.

Professional Development Workshops
Using a collaborative, outcome-based learning experience we provide workshops designed to empower participants to pursue their goals. With a combination of personal reflection, peer learning discussions, and activities completed outside of the workshop setting, we focus on increasing skills and crafting actionable plans for career advancement.
Workshops may be delivered as a cumulative series, or as stand-alone programs with content specific to sub-group by roles (e.g., leadership, faculty, or staff) or by affinity group (e.g., by race, ethnicity, gender or other dimensions of diversity) as needed.
Workshops may be customized based on areas as identified through assessments, interviews, surveys or common needs.

Consulting
An outside perspective can be invaluable when an organization is seeking transformation or experiencing transitions. Organizations and groups have engaged us to provide strategy and facilitation for a range of change management activities and project development. We work with local, national and international clients both in-person and virtually. Consulting engagements are often a combination of services with arrangements unique to the needs of each client.
